water
My pediatrician told me that my son is fire and I am to be like water. Where to begin?
On the (unintentionally) 10 mile first bike ride with Stephen yesterday when, after a roaring start, things deteriorated rather quickly, I was definitely not water.
He stopped his bike every 10 feet to scratch his head or his nose and whined more than I thought was possible for a seven year old and though I knew he was justified because we way misjudged the distance, I was so not water.
Funny that my neurologists say sort of the same thing.
I am kind of Type A, like many migraneurs, apparently, so being water is a pretty tall order.
Water has the advantage here. It only has to be itself, whereas I not only have to change my state, but figure out the rules of the proverbial road.
Excercise, mediation, regular sleep schedule, remember to take meds, drink an unthinkable amount of water and now, be it, too.
